From doodles to dangles!

Meet ZenDangles! These colorful lotus earrings are part of a new jewelry collection featuring my own original drawings. I've been playing around with Zentangle-inspired art for years and recently decided to see what would happen if I turned some of my favorites into jewelry. I'm pretty happy with how these turned out, and excited to share more designs!

• Material: 1/8" birch wood, laser engraved and cut, individually hand painted, sealed with UV resin

• Pendant size: Approximately 1.75" tall × 1.4" wide

• Total length: Approximately 2.5", including the earwire

• Earwires: Stainless steel, available in fishhook or leverback in various colors

• Includes: One pair of earrings

The Story Behind ZenDangles

I discovered Zentangling quite some time ago and have enjoyed returning to it off and on over the years. Recently, I picked up my pens and colored pencils again and had an idea: What if some of my favorite drawings became jewelry?

Every ZenDangles design begins with an original drawing created by hand. I scan the artwork, clean it up digitally, experiment with different jewelry shapes, and then laser engrave and cut the design into wood. Finally, I carefully hand paint each piece and seal it with UV resin.

There's something incredibly satisfying about watching a little drawing transform into something you can actually wear!

ZenDangles are more than earrings — they're tiny pieces of my original artwork.

Care: Do not expose to excess heat or moisture.

Each pair is handmade, so variations will occur.
Those little differences are part of the charm of owning something made by hand.
